LITERALLY ONE OF MY NEW FAVOURITE BOOKS. okay so i’ll admit i didn’t actually have high expectations for this book. a cinderella retelling? been there done that. BUT OH MY GOODNESS this was something different and amazing and i need more books from this author. i don’t want to give any spoilers, but THE CHARACTERS WERE AMAZING. we love a strong female lead, and that’s exactly who we got. and getting to see the childhood relationship between the stepsisters and cinderella was super interesting!! i really liked how none of the characters were perfect and they all had an area that they needed to improve. overall i was really really impressed with this book - i bought two of the authors other books straight after!!
