For me this was not a stand out book that made me want to rush and buy more. It's a retelling of Cinderella's "ugly" sisters. It's set about the time Cinderella goes off with the prince with some flash backs to tell their history and story.
Now dont get me wrong I like a story about the underdogs and the fact she has to redeem herself by doing three things.
But really? I just found the story to slow and uninspired. That her fate could be rewritten as she could be a nice person? Why is it we have to justify all behaviours and she has to redeem herself why is it not more in fiction that you can accept yourself as being happy the way you are more than you have to conform to what others believe is the correct way!
I think this book particularly didnt jive well with me and unfortunately I didnt rate it very highly at 3 stars. However if you like a retelling of a story give it a go and decide for yourself.
