This is a great twist on a classic story. I've read some twists that are really boring or disappointing but this was most definitely not one of them. I like how its centered on a character who is given no focus and detail in the initial tale and how it makes you see Isabelle in a whole new light. It makes you feel instantly on her side when you hear about the things her Maman pressures her to do it makes you wonder, doesn't it?
I really like the cover because it is simple but very elegant and the writing style is easy to follow and understand. There were plenty of twists and turns in the story line and it was really interesting and fun. I love how it gives a different view to the tale and I really loved the part of it that I hot to read! 📖📚📒
