Step Sister tells the story of one of Cinderella's step sisters after the end of the fairy tale. Isabelle has always had to deal with being ugly, with not being wanted but now she tries to follow her own path and it's so good.
You know that how Isabelle treated Ella was wrong and even she admits it but you get a glimpse into her head. You see why she was jealous with how everyone treats her for being independent and not beautiful. And you really feel for her. You see her become a good person, make unusual friendships and deal with everything Fate and Chance throw at her.
I knew I'd like this book but I'm surprised at how quickly I whizzed through it. The chapters are so short that one more page easily becomes one more chapter and before you know it you've finished it.
This was an excellent book and I'd definitely recommend it.
