Let's just start off by saying I was quite apprehensive about reading the book ...but I was very quickly reeled in. Such a magical tale of survival, hope and determination that's its hard not to feel inspired to be a better version of yourself despite what others perceive you to be. So heartwarming and uplifting I found myself really rooting for the stepsisters and the journey they both took as its not just about one but the family as a collective. Isabelle is strong, fierce and not afraid to take control of her life and step out of the shadows and I absolutely adore her. She refuses to be the perfect portrayal of a lady despite being raised that way and came into her own and I recommend this book highly for that.
