The first line alone grabs the readers attention and makes them want to know more, just from that first line I knew it was going to be a book I need to stay up all night and read. I love books that are modern and reference the pst this story takes a group of friends to a 1920s inspired cocktail party, they party away until someone turns up dead. The group are then trapped on an island as the prime suspects. This book has me captivated I need to read more, it flows very well and holds the readers attention it’s not a slow burn it starts off with a punchy first line and from there it just makes you want to read more. I was also a huge fan of one of us is lying which it sounds similar too. The cover for this story is eye catching if I was in a bookshop I would pick it up.
