The cover made me think it was going to be a bit too young adult for me. And while reading the extract proved this point, there seemed enough in there to keep me intrigued enough to want to read more to find out what happens.
A potential psycho type shower scene murder was hinted at, but was this merely a red herring? There was also a mysterious vial that was accidentally dropped from a purse, is this some kind of poison? Will we get more than one murder?
I am hoping the YA romance stuff doesn't feature too heavily as it is just too cliche and bores me to tears.
