That prologue was gripping! Without giving too much away - it got me completely hooked and needing to know more. The rest of the extract was interesting enough, but it was that very first page that has left me wanting to read the rest.
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of that cover at all. The art is beautiful but it doesn't feel like a book cover, and would put me off if I saw it in a shop. There is no sense from it of what the vibe of the book is going to be?
