Not sure this is for me
I found the prologue intriguing but then lost interest.
For me, there are far too many vapid characters that I couldn't relate to. I kept forgetting who each character was and how they were linked to other characters.
I liked the idea of the group being effectively trapped in the grand mansion and it definitely sets up the story for something sinister happening. The 1920s theme makes it a little different too. It reminds me a little bit of an Agatha Christie novel.
This is a YA book which is not a genre I normally read and I'm definitely much older than the target demographic. Younger readers may enjoy it, but I'm not sure this one is for me.
