I love a good murder mystery and this setting just seals the deal - teens in a 1920s glamorous stately home, expecting a party - getting a murder!
The book opens with the murderer narrating their own crime, but we don’t know who that is!
That’s what gets me hooked from the beginning. I expect twists and turns, where you’re sure you’ve got the killer and then they pull the rug from under your feet.
This book looks brilliant, especially for amateur detectives (those of us who get very competitive over a game of Cluedo!) and fans of teen crime series and novels.
