If you can’t resist a great YA crime/mystery novel, then this one is definitely worth picking up - all the Agatha Christie vibes with the posh house and cast of suspects all stuck there together as the detectives work out whodunnit!
I really liked our narrator Izzy and both her friendship with Kassidy, and blossoming romance with Marlowe, which added a little something extra to the story! Mostly I loved how everyone had secrets and reasons for wanting the victim dead, which led to lots of intrigue and ‘oh, they’re definitely the killer’, ‘no, they’re definitely the killer’ etc etc. And whilst the killer reveal wasn’t necessarily shocking (they all had reason to!), the reason why definitely too me by surprise as I really didn’t see that twist coming! Overall, a great quick and easy read for when you just want a fun whodunnit!
