I thought this one was played out in a brilliant way, with the different characters laid out and their different points of view with the detectives thrown in the middle dotted about. I liked the way the scene was set a lot and the murder mystery party vibes along with the coming of age/issues with interpersonal relationships and both inner and outer turmoil with all the characters. I found this book so easy to pick up and read super quickly, it was fast paced and had a brilliant plot without being too over complicated. I didn’t see the ending coming either which is always significant for me as a massive fan of crime and thriller fiction, more often than not I can guess the perp! If you’re looking for a quick easy read cosy crime mystery to read I definitely would not hesitate to go and pick up this one! An easy four out of five stars for me on this book.
