It’s the end of high school and Kassidy has dreamed up a 1920s themed celebration party on an island at the Ashwood estate, where her best friend Izzy’s favourite movie was filmed.
Reliving the glitz and glamour of the roaring twenties it’s champagne, flapper dresses, cocktails and elaborate dinners.
Then “Suddenly a murder” is announced.
Blaine, Kassidy’s boyfriend is dead.
But WHO did it?
All have motive, Blaine wasn’t a nice person, he did devious, underhand things but who hated him enough to cause them to murder him?
The detectives are called in and with a storm set to arrive all suspects and the police are on lockdown on the Island trying to find out the truth.
I absolutely LOVED this, totally my kind of thing, 1920s jazz era, movie associations and a classic Christie-esque style mystery with a modern twist.
Couldn’t put it down.
