Whilst the premise of this book is normally something I really would enjoy, I personally found this a little lacking.
It tells the story of Izzy Morales and her best friends Kassidy. They decide to celebrate the end of high school together by going on a luxury 1920s themed getaway with five other friends to Ashwood Manor. It oozes glamour and sophistication. There, Izzy and her friends party in vintage dresses and expensive diamonds - until Kassidy's boyfriend turns up dead.
Predictably, a raging storm happens and the group are trapped on the island with two detectives. The youngsters then all become the prime suspects in a murder investigation.
The girlfriend, the other girl, the old friend. Who could it be? With Izzy bringing the knife, everything seems to be pointing in one direction. But is all really as it seems?
Overall, a good attempt but I’ve read better.
