I love historical fiction, particularly set during WWII. This sounds like a compelling story and I would love to know more about Bridget and her reason for seeking out Summerland. It shows the way society viewed refugees at the time and the journey these children had to make in order to feel safe. Bridget sounds so intriguing, with the knife in her sock, and one glove in her suitcase. Sounds such an interesting story!
