I just love the first read. How wonderful and to know that this is based on a true story makes it even more interesting and exciting to read. Being German myself I read a lot about the second world war and find it important that the events and the horror shell never be forgotten. That is also why this story rings a bell in my heart and I can not wait to read more. The writing is also very good and fits the time and tale completely. I think this is a must for all fans of historian books.
