I really enjoyed reading this first look. The book is easy to read and is written in an accessible style despite covering important and difficult issues. The story follows Brigitta who was in hiding with her Mutti during the war and has now arrived in England. I am keen to read more to find out why Brigitta has travelled to Summerland carrying a knife and a single glove....
