Admittedly, I usually read fantasy or science fiction, not historical fiction. Old habits die hard I guess. But I’ve always been very interested in war stories and a few other event in history. Those are the books I thoroughly enjoy.
Anyway, the cover looked very interesting and the style suits the genre, in my opinion.
I read the excerpt and I was immediately hooked. I recognize myself in her quiet, yet quite cunning nature, especially when I was younger.
