I can’t tell if it’s good or bad that it’s different
I think a lot can be done with the idea of an orphan in war and I think the set-up for this book is promising.
I’m not normally a fan of historical fiction but Brigetta’s hope of getting to Summerland is really intriguing. It’s hard to tell whether she is being paranoid or if something is going on and I’d like to see what goes on when she finally makes it to Summerland.
The cover fits the WW2 orphan theme exactly but it doesn’t really allude to any specific aspect of THIS book that I can see.
