I thoroughly enjoyed the beginning of this book as I completely agreed with its opening: we often hear about wars, but not what happens after them. It found an unusual take on the topic, but it was effective, as was the characterisation. My only criticism would be that ’Igel’ is German for hedgehog, not ‘Iguel’!
