Although the story seems like it has potential and a WWII setting which I find fascinating, I was disappointed that the writing was so simplistic. I have been consumed by some YA novels but the Summerland FI felt like it was targeted at a very young audience which I suspect would irritate me immensely after a while. Not one for me.
