The cover did not attract me as a reader. The blurb gave an interesting overview of the novel. However, I felt reluctant to give this book a try because it sounded like a regular historical fiction, with no twist.
But I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I read the first look. I found the writing style to be very different. Many books use a long and descriptive writing style. But this novel uses short sentences that get straight to the point. And no excess of details is given.
I especially like the way that the main character goes into detail about her past but keeps the glove a mystery.
Overall, I am pleased to say that I could not find any flaws whatsoever in this novel so far.
