First of all, I love that all the chapters are named after food! Secondly, I fell in love with Brigitta just after a few pages. She's the type of heroine I can relate to and still feel engaged and excited to follow her in her journey. WW2 stories are always guaranteed to make me emotional in so many ways and I'm sure this one'll be no different, especially because it's about refugee children.
