From start to finish this is a wonderful story that transports you to war time and really makes you think about this era gone by and how it affected different people.
Historic fiction is one of my favourite genres and I have to say that this is one of favourites for this kind of book which is huge to say I have read so many! There were themes of kindness, hope and mystery that kept me guessing. The book is anything but simple but a gentle, warming and wonderful read that has a great twist!
