I found this book difficult to get into, however I soon found it enjoyable with lots of twists and surprises. I thought I could relate to the character, but I was evidently proven wrong towards the end!
I liked the food themed chapter titles and how the author included them within the chapter. To begin with, I found the number of characters difficult to remember, yet by the end I felt i knew them very well thanks to the author’s descriptive techniques.
I liked the plot twist at the end, it was entirely unexpected until I looked back and saw all the clues the author had included that had gone over my head, however I would have liked the ending to have lasted longer as I felt it was rushed and not the main focus as it should have been.
