I was very pleasantly surprised by this book, I gave it 4 stars.
Overall I really enjoyed this book, the writing style was very easy to read and flowed wonderfully. My only issue with it was the fact that the ending was so guessable but I half assumed that perhaps that was the point though!
I really enjoyed the story, I'm the kind of reader that likes all the lose ends to be tied up in a neat bow, if you like that then sadly you will be disappointed, this book leaves a few lose ends. It almost felt like it could have done with being slightly longer.
The other children characters in this book felt more like a side line, their own stories although interesting did not impact on the main story it was also a little frustrating that they didn't get any retribution either. For me that felt like they didn't really tie into the story as well as they could have.
