A different book about the aftermath of the war. A lot seems to be written about the plight of the Jews in the war but not much about what happened to them after. This is an interesting insight into the feelings after the war, which seem to be being felt now and the conditions everyone found themselves in.It has a happy though unforeseen ending, giving hope to all. I am not sure if it is an adult’s book or not but I did enjoy it and I am sure a teenager would as well.The cover gives a good indication of the start to the story of one alone hoping to find something, to find a new beginning. The style of writing is whimsical, and childish which is quite refreshing it puts a different perspective on things.
