I was extremely excited to read this book, the cover spoke to me and I had to have it.
It is very easy to read and the writing style is very childish, putting the main character`s feeling into pinpoint as well as her perspective.
It was great to have more insight about the post-war period from the perspective of a teenager, which remindind me a lot of Anne Frank.
I must admit I had very high expectations of this, I don`t know exactly what I wanted, it is the story of a girl after the World War II, but somehow it left me a bit disappointed.
