This story is about a girl who along with her mother is in hiding during the war. A sad tale bout how she was forced to hide, losing her dad and her time in a concentration camp. Even Summerland isn't safe for her when she finally flees and finds the house she means to find.
A dramatic turn of events and the meeting of an important person changes the storyline. A gripping story with courageous moments. At times sad but with her love and passion for music that her mum taught her, she finds a way to become free at times when all seems lost. I would read another book from this author however the ending is quite strange but I'm a way it is ultimately inspiring. This mystery captivating book is 4\5 for me
