I found it very hard to get into this book. I did finish it as I don’t like leaving a book unfinished. I didn’t find the storyline very engaging and not much seemed to be going on from chapter to chapter. I didn’t find the characters very easy to relate to and I found that they were often quite forgettable. I felt like barely anything had happened by the time I was halfway through. There wasn’t enough pace in this book for me. It was an easy read and it is aimed more at young adults. I have read young adult books that I thought were brilliant, just didn’t get on with this one. I have read quite a few bestsellers lately though, so my opinion could be affected by the two books I have just red.
