Beautifully Heartbreaking
The description says that this book is perfect for fans of John Green and 'The Lovely Bones', and as a fan of both, I would absolutely agree. I would also like to add 'If I Stay' to that list, yet another of my favourite books.
If the introduction is anything to go by, this book will be a knockout. As if this situation, a young girl dead, leaving her family and friends behind all too soon, wasn't heart-breaking enough, she just has to have a twin brother, doesn't she? Ready the boxes of tissues, this is going to be a weep-fest.
That said, there is a beauty in the lessons learnt and the truth that very few people are brave enough to confront: death comes for all of us sooner or later, and it doesn't care how young you are.
I highly recommend this book and will definitely be reading the rest of it!
