A thought provking book with echoes of The Lovely Bones. When Lily wakes up dead following a hit and run accident, we are taken on her journey. This book made me experience a range of emotions, as we get to see her acceptance and also how other people cope with her death. A heart-breaking moment was when I found out that Lily is a twin. Seeing her brothers reaction made me cry. However, Lily finds a way to ‘live’ again. I managed to read this book in one sitting. It was recommended by others and it is also a book I will never forget.
The chapters are short meaning you can meet a selection of characters and it keeps your u engaged.
