This is a YA novel that has a great original idea. The main character, Lily is in fact dead, I'm not spoiling anything she has died before page one. She's a 15 year old killed by a hit and run driver. She has unfinished business so can't escape limbo into the afterlife, unfortunately she can't do anything else either, can't be heard, seen, move things, until her twin brother comes to help. She can live through her brothers body which I know, if you don't believe in these things, a bit farfetched but it was actually quite believable in the book.
She sets about trying to solve her unfinished business, which I'm not going to ruin but is quite simple to guess. This section of the book just ran away a little I thought, she became very self obsessed and irritating, the repeated "I'm doing a good thing" that she used like a mantra to justify her selfishness was annoying. However, I persevered and the ending was just, although I cried quite a lot through this novel(it is a little sad) it was mostly because of her family and friends and how they coped or didn't with the loss of Lily.
A good solid 3 stars
