Beautiful! Lily’s story is well-written and such a page turner. The characters are strong and unique and the plot concept is totally new to me. It seems like it provides the kind of closure most people could only dream of. The theme of forgiveness is particularly strong in this book and what interests me is how Lily’s anger becomes forgiveness. I felt so deeply for all the characters and found Lily’s descriptions of being in Ben’s body especially entertaining! The author had thought of things in such a fresh light. This book is a gift to the world of teen fiction, it’s tear-jerking, hilarious and uplifting all at the same time. A stunning first novel from Phyllida Shrimpton, one I would strongly recommend .
