The cover is beautiful and it’s so pretty when the sun reflects off the foil from the petals. But that’s pretty much where the love for this book ends.
I really enjoyed the first 80 or so pages but after that I found myself skimming a lot of the pages. Lily the main character becomes very selfish with no regards for her brothers life, and seems very whiny and annoying. The middle of the book seems to focus on Lily In her brothers body and not much else and it’s dragged out far longer than it needed to be. There isn’t much focus on any of the other characters, and it felt like the story wasn’t going anywhere. In my opinion this had the potential to be so much more than it was, and it was very difficult to finish.
