Sunflowers in February, really started with a bang for me, the description of the accident as seen through the victim's own eyes was really interesting and wonderfully descriptive. The main character Lily is intriguing as you are not sure whether you like her or not as you read further into the story.
Unfortunately the middle of the novel once Lily has found a way to interact and communicate with people, really dragged on and in my opinion could have been kept to a couple of chapters. But just as I was getting a little bored, the novel picked up pace and had a really good ending.
Despite not being a fan of the fantasy genre I really found myself enjoying the premise, it was different to anything that I have read before and overall I really enjoyed the book.
