I loved the opening to this book. I’ll be honest, I picked it because the cover caught my eye - which is what I guess they are supposed to do. The title is intriguing too, suggests happy in a place you wouldn’t expect it.
So, it focuses on the aftermath of Lily’s death in a hit and run. So nothing happy about that, a painful subject to read about. It focuses on the reactions of her family. In particular, the story tells how Lily watches how her twin brother is affected my her death.
The openings really makes me want to read on and see whether Lily can reach out to Ben after death. Also, you find out early on who is responsible for Lily’s eath and there is a whole can be of worms to be opened there!
