I love the front cover! The best way to start a good book is with an enticing front cover! The book itself, judging by the first 30 pages, grabbed my attention immediately. It is about a young girl who died in a car accident, which may seem distressing at first, however the author has portrayed her story into a compelling, first-person narrative with the purpose of highlighting to teen readers the importance of life.

Shrimpton has gone into great detail about the main character, Lily, who finds herself in an out of body experience, watching the tragedy of her own death. Shrimpton uses emotive language in order to create a character in which readers will sympathise with.

The story will be a good read for anyone interested in contemporary fiction.
