This is a well-written book that grabs your attention right from the very first chapter. As a mother of a teenager, I did find these initial chapters somewhat heart-breaking and wondered if the rest of the book would make me cry. The subject matter is upsetting but thankfully, not too descriptive. The revelation in chapter five made me audibly gasp as I read, wondering how that was going to be revealed further in the book and what damage it would cause. It’s not yet obvious how the title of the book fits in with the story, but it’s an intriguing start. From the initial chapters, I feel that the book is aimed at teens, but, in my mid-40s, I'm gripped enough to want to read the whole book.
