I wanted to like this book but I found myself increasingly hating Lily due to how selfish she was during the novel , especially whilst in Bens body. It took her dad a paragraph to be convinced that his daughter was using his son as a host and was completely fine with I. The book picked up but then dropped off once she became ben and then remained slow throughout. As a first book for Phyllida Shrimpton it was written well and the cover art along with the title are stunning, however I cant get past the lack of character development of lily and the constant notes of selfishness throughout the novel. I'm giving the novel 2 out of 5 stars due to this. I did however like how the novel was told through different points of view and not just Lily's.
