Resonant of a John Green novel, Sunflowers In February, from first impressions I have deciphered that it has a unique plot and the exploration of life after death is relevant and realistic in character terms.
The main character Lily is your typical teenage girl and reacts as one would expect a teenager finding themselves dead would.

As the plot thickens and Lily finds she can communicate, and even possess her twin brother Ben’s body, she finds it harder and harder to just simply leave and give her twin’s body back; because who truly would want to leave? Especially a highly spirited and determined girl such as Lily Richardson.

The concept of learning to let go and it’s importance runs through the extract I’ve read, can Lily let go and give her family their second chance at living- a life without her?
