After stumbling across this book I knew right away that it was up my street, and the blurb drew me in immediately. As a student studying Criminology and having a big interest in prisons and the history with them, this book is incredible to me. It ticks all the boxes for being a book that I'd prioritise over others, and the story being told is so important. I have a few other books similar to this, but from the first impressions of this one, I would rate this a lot higher.
The way the story is being told is easy to follow and I feel that a lot of people would get enjoyment from reading this too, and would feel the emotions. Chapter 2 was the best for me, as soon as I began reading it I knew I wanted to read more, and now I have added this to the list of books to buy. Definitely recommend, please pick up!
