The cover of this book doesn't give anything away about what this novel is going to be about, but it's eerie and dark looking, just like the plot.
My first impression of this book is that it's going to be chilling. Already, from the first few chapters I'm feeling drawn into the mystery of Maryanne's disappearance and the suspicious links to Catrina's father.
The descriptive writing is witty but also disturbing and I'm looking forward to seeing the story unravel further, from what Catrina thought she knew, to what she now knows.
