I loved the fierce but flawed female characters and the suggestions of the relationships between them. I'm really interested to see how these play out. It's great to see some of the genre stereotypes flipped and a contemporary female main character who is honest about the daily confusion and struggles a female millennial faces in this crazy world. Already, in just two chapters, there's been talk of speculating after white wine and concreting over glass ceilings. I get the impression that this is going to be Line of Duty meets Fleabag. And what a beautiful thing that would be!
It's hard to believe this is a debut. I'm hooked by the voice and the snappy and contemporary writing style. Bring it on!
