I read this book a while ago and I remember it left a good impression, therefore it must have been a good story. I remember being hooked from the start and I finished it quickly, which probably explains why I cannot recall detail. DC Catrina Kinsella's Dad lived in an Irish pub and was portrayed as a 'bloke'. The story is told in different time lines, which brings an interesting perspective. I think the concept is great and unique. There are not many books whereby the main character suspects their parents of crime. Most tend to be partners, or children, but never parents. It's a pity this story does not stand out more, but I read lots of crime thriller police books. I will say I did enjoy it and will recommend.
