Loved this book as it followed detective Kinsella as she attempted to battle demons from her past by solving a murder case of a woman she knew as a young girl and had already presumed dead. With personal links to the case and a haunting past it makes for a good read, with new twists and turns in the case with every chapter.
As the book progresses you get to find out more from Cat's past as she recounts events from her childhood, close to when the time Maryanne disappeared but as it turns out everyone has their own view of who Alice or Maryanne is which allows the reader to explore different possibilities and come up with hypothesis about who the killer really is.
