This book got me back into reading. It left me wanting to read more within the first 100 pages! It captured my imagination and kept me guessing throughout, an absolute must read for anyone who likes crime ficton. I found myself getting emotionally involved with the characters.
The plot centres around Cat Kinsella a young, damaged detective from London with links to Northern Island, who is investigating 2 murders. One from her past (1998) and one in her professional life (present day). She grows suspicious of her dad throughout is he involved or not?!
Cleverly flicks between 1998 and modern day in chapters. This book had me amused, shocked and totally gripped.
I will continue to read books within the crime genre purely due to this book.
