so the book started off pretty good, but then dragged on, however it did include interesting plot twists but my definite favourite moment was the ending, quite disappointing and i kind of knew that was going to happen but anyway, good book, got me back into reading! highly recommend, let’s you see inside the police and everything, pretty cool. definitely enjoyed the flashback chapters, getting to know Maryanne and her past, but also Cat, she is definitely my favourite character! the fact that she started dating aiden at the end clearly shows her development, as at first we see her as a miserable police detective, but then “plot twist!” she starts dating Aiden AND quits her job on the police force, in my opinion, that did help her mentally.
