I started this and found it took a while before the story developed enough to grip my attention. The main character seemed to be struggling with her memories and mental health, the case she is on develops and it looks as though her father could be one of the suspects as the victim turns out to be someone from her past, she starts a relationship with the victims brother. The final outcome was not how I thought the story would end, the final confession was too easy an answer, and it leaves you wondering if there should be an alternative ending, have we really solved the crime. There are lots of potential suspects within the story that add to the plot and the story skips between the past and present. Right at the end the main character is rebuilding her family connections which gives the story its happy ending...
