Twists and turns and a main character to love!
I love an edge of your seat crime mystery, and this one didn't disappoint.
The main character you instantly felt empathy for...a bit of a lousy upbringing by a questionable father who now runs a local pub and seems to always be on the verge of something dodgy.
She manages to keep her job as a detective, despite her iffy family, and does a surprisingly good job.
She is convinced that the current case is linked to her father, and her world slowly falls apart as she clings to normality.
I won't ruin the story by saying what happens but there are many twists and snippets of information that have a huge effect on poor Kinsella.
The ending I couldn't guess (we'll, parts of it) and I couldn't put the book down! Great for fans of CL Taylor, HarlanCoben, Caroline kepnes, SK Tremayne.
